Member of Parliament learns how British-made batteries can support UK energy security, skilled manufacturing jobs and economic growth.

Invinity Energy Systems was pleased to welcome Pamela Nash MP, Member of Parliament for Motherwell, Wishaw and Carluke, to our manufacturing facility in Motherwell today. During the visit, Ms. Nash met with members of the Invinity team and toured the facility where Invinity’s vanadium flow batteries are assembled for deployment across the UK and around the world.
Accompanied by Adam Howard, CFO, and Paul Docherty, VP Operations, Ms. Nash learned how Invinity’s British-made batteries support the UK’s transition to a cleaner, more resilient energy system while creating high-value manufacturing jobs in Scotland. The visit included a tour of the assembly floor and completed Endurium battery systems, showcasing the Company’s growing manufacturing capabilities in the Scottish central belt.

During discussions with the Invinity team, Ms. Nash heard how long duration energy storage can help maximise the value of renewable energy generation, strengthen energy security and support the development of a domestic clean energy supply chain. Invinity also outlined the significant opportunity for UK manufacturing, investment and exports that could be unlocked through the wider deployment of British-developed energy storage technologies.
