/ Best-in-class efficiency: ENDURIUM boasts a round-trip efficiency of up to 80%, surpassing other non-lithium technologies. This achievement is further enhanced by a two-thirds reduction in auxiliary consumption, maximising energy output for every cycle.
/ Doubled site density: Compared to our previous generation, ENDURIUM doubles the energy density to over 100 MWh per acre, optimising land use for large-scale installations.
/ Enhanced serviceability: ENDURIUM’s modular design and front-door access simplify maintenance and installation, lowering operational costs and complexity.
/ Safety and Sustainability: Our vanadium flow battery technology offers exceptional fire safety with zero risk of thermal runaway, making it an ideal choice for projects with challenging permitting requirements. It also operates with a significantly reduced noise profile compared to lithium-ion batteries.

Meeting Diverse Market Needs

ENDURIUM is incredibly versatile and can be configured to meet the demands of various markets and use cases. We’ve conducted case studies in North America, the UK and Australia, highlighting ENDURIUM’s ability to capture value across different market structures and incentives.

On the webinars we discussed several examples including:

/ Merchant Batteries in ERCOT and South Australia: Our modelling shows that ENDURIUM can effectively capture revenues in a deregulated market like ERCOT and South Australia, primarily through energy arbitrage. The battery’s high throughput capability, enabled by full depth of discharge and unlimited cycling, makes it particularly suitable for regions with high renewable penetration.
/ Long-Duration Energy Storage: ENDURIUM is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for long-duration energy storage, driven by initiatives like the US Department of Energy’s Energy Storage Grand Challenge. We see significant opportunities in emerging regional procurements and utility integrated resource planning processes across North America and the UK.

ENDURIUM is designed for large-scale, front-of-the-meter projects starting at 12 MWh and scaling up to 1000 MWh. It’s ideal for projects requiring a discharge duration of 4 hours or more, with optimal economic benefits often observed at 6, 8 and 12 hours.
