The Invinity Team in action at the Energy Storage Digital Series 2020
The Invinity team were very pleased to present at the first digital energy storage conference hosted by Solar Media.
Focussing on core themes which included ‘Beyond Lithium’, ‘Battery Safety’ and ‘Making Money from Energy Storage’, the event attracted speakers from across the industry and covered a wide range of technologies including Vanadium redox flow batteries. We also heard from notable project developers and integrators including Pivot Power.

Making a Business Case for Long Duration – Matt Harper, Chief Commercial Officer
Invinity Chief Commercial Officer, Matt Harper was joined by ARES’ Russ Weed on a panel chaired by Dr. Imre Gyuk, Director of Energy Storage Research, U.S. Department of Energy.
The session focussed on “The next wave in tech innovation: how can financiers, asset owners, and developers make money from long duration batteries?”
Vanadium redox flow batteries are considered to be a key technology for the long duration energy storage space and you can access Matt’s presentation from the event below.

Beyond Lithium: Case Studies – Ed Porter, Business Development Director
Invinity Business Development Director, Ed Porter begun day three of the conference by giving two short case studies looking at Invinity flow battery sites. Ed took a deep dive into some of the real-life case studies which aim to solve pressing problems in global energy systems and was joined by Gravitricity’s Charlie Blair and Highview Power CEO, Dr. Javier Cavada. The session was moderated by Energy Storage News Editor, Andy Colthorpe.
